ChemiPURE Poly Acrylamide Gel Accelerator (TEMED Alternative) is designed to catalyze acrylamide/bis-acrylamide polymerization in combination with ammonium persulfate (APS) or a suitable initiator for the preparation of polyacrylamide gels used in protein or nucleic acid electrophoresis.
This product can be used as a no-odor, low-volatility alternative to TEMED. The recommended addition ratio is generally 1–2% (v/v), depending on acrylamide concentration, gel formulation, temperature, and the desired gel setting time.
