EcoZyme Proteinase K is a stable and highly reactive nonspecific serine protease that is useful for general digestion of proteins. EcoZyme Proteinase K is capable of inactivating RNases and DNases and is used in the isolation or preparation of high molecular weight nucleic acids.  
EcoZyme Proteinase K is stable at various temperatures and may be used at 56°C for up to 4 hours, or 37°C for overnight incubations.
